How Gorgu votes

Gorgu is one of the localities of Varto; it had 241 registered voters at the 2015 parliamentary election.

176 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 115; CHP followed with 59. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 25.7 points below the district average. In the presidential election, 88 of 169 valid votes went to Selahattin Demirtaş — 36.1 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 161 of 164 valid votes were 'no' — 12.1 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: DEM Parti took 56 votes to CHP's 44 — a margin of just 12 votes. First place has changed hands 3 times here since 2009. Turnout at the 2015 parliamentary election was 73.0%, 11.6 points below the district average.
