Ocakli is one of the localities of Varto. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 187 voters were registered there for the 2015 parliamentary election.
156 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 147; BBP followed with 2. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 6.3 points above the district average. In the presidential election, 165 of 172 valid votes went to Selahattin Demirtaş; across the district that share was 88.1%. At the 2017 referendum 103 of 140 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 86.1%.
