Seki is one of the localities of Varto; it had 119 registered voters at the 2015 parliamentary election.

102 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 97; CHP followed with 3. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 4.1 points above the district average. In the presidential election, 86 of 106 valid votes went to Selahattin Demirtaş — 7.0 points below the district average.
