Yayla ranks 50th by electorate among the 54 localities of Varto. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 80 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
65 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 61; MHP followed with 3. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 11.3 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 62 of 65 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 89.2%. At the 2017 referendum 42 of 52 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 86.1%.
