How Yukarihacibey votes

Yukarihacibey is one of the localities of Varto. The village has a single ballot box, and 117 voters were registered there for the 2015 parliamentary election.

89 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 86; BBP followed with 1. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 6.7 points above the district average. In the presidential election, 105 of 105 valid votes went to Selahattin Demirtaş; across the district that share was 88.1%. At the 2017 referendum 72 of 74 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 86.1%.

At the 2024 local election the village went to AK Parti with 22 votes, while Varto as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 39.8%, 27.1 points below the district average.
