Yeşil Sol Parti took 64.3% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Başkale the same party stood at 70.0%, putting the neighborhood 5.7 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 71.5% here and 77.0% across the district.
