Yeşil Sol Parti took 71.3% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Edremit the same party stood at 55.8%, putting the neighborhood 15.5 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 75.4% here and 63.2% across the district. At the 2010 referendum 91.9% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 94.0%.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2019: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (HDP in 2019, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2023, DEM Parti in 2024). At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 36.2%, while Edremit as a whole was won by DTP. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 72.8%, 10.3 points below the district average.
