How Bulamac votes

Bulamac ranks 81st by electorate among the 103 localities of Erciş. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 153 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 49 votes, while across Erciş the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 15.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 56 of 102 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 8.1 points above the district average. At the 2010 referendum 208 of 213 valid votes were 'yes' — 4.0 points above the district average.

The electorate shrank from 257 registered voters in 2011 to 153 in 2023 — a change of about 40 percent. The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2011: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 5 elections. The tightest race came at the 2009 local election: DTP took 76 votes to Saadet Partisi's 64 — a margin of just 12 votes. At the 2023 parliamentary election 10 of 115 ballots cast were ruled invalid (8.7%), well above the district average.
