How Dereagzi votes

533 voters were registered in Dereagzi for the 2023 parliamentary election — 11th among the 41 localities of Gevaş.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 39.4%, while across Gevaş the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 0.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 70.2% here — 17.2 points above the district average. At the 2010 referendum 99.0% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 2.2 points above the district average.

Turnout at the 2009 local election was 92.3%, 8.5 points above the district average. The electorate grew from 430 registered voters in 2011 to 533 in 2023 — a change of about 24 percent. AK Parti stood at 75.4% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 39.4% by 2023. The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 11 elections.
