How Hamurkesen votes

Hamurkesen is one of the localities of Gürpınar. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 108 voters were registered there for the 2011 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2011 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 78 votes, while across Gürpınar the leading party was independents with 53.3%, leaving AK Parti at 37.6%. At the 2010 referendum 87 of 89 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 97.3%.
