How Sariguney votes

A single ballot box served Sariguney at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 120 registered voters; that places it 58th among the 97 localities of Akdağmadeni.

101 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 63; MHP followed with 32. AK Parti's share here is 17.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 103 of 104 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 17.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 108 of 110 valid votes were 'yes' — 19.0 points above the district average.

The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. The electorate shrank from 154 registered voters in 2011 to 120 in 2023 — a change of about 22 percent. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: AK Parti took 60 votes to MHP's 48 — a margin of just 12 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 60 votes, while Akdağmadeni as a whole was won by MHP.
