How Kocabekir votes

With 58 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Kocabekir stands 14th among the 25 localities of Aydıncık, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.

53 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 35; MHP followed with 9. AK Parti's share here is 21.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 48 of 52 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 11.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 79 of 79 valid votes were 'yes' — 18.3 points above the district average.

The electorate shrank from 104 registered voters in 2011 to 58 in 2023 — a change of about 44 percent. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 16 votes, while Aydıncık as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 47.1%, 41.5 points below the district average. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: MHP took 16 votes to AK Parti's 11 — a margin of just 5 votes.
