Kuyukoy ranks 15th by electorate among the 25 localities of Aydıncık. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 51 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 39 votes, while across Aydıncık the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 63.5 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 42 of 49 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 66.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 48 of 52 valid votes were 'no' — 74.0 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 19 votes, while Aydıncık as a whole was won by AK Parti. The electorate shrank from 71 registered voters in 2011 to 51 in 2023 — a change of about 28 percent. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 74.1%, 14.5 points below the district average. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: MHP took 19 votes to AK Parti's 12 — a margin of just 7 votes.
