The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 35 votes, while across Aydıncık the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 58.3 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 37 of 47 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 59.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 25 of 49 valid votes were 'no' — 32.7 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 24 votes, while Aydıncık as a whole was won by AK Parti. The electorate shrank from 89 registered voters in 2011 to 48 in 2023 — a change of about 46 percent.
