How Gulpinar votes

Gulpinar ranks 9th by electorate among the 14 localities of Çandır. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 214 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

155 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 50; MHP followed with 49. Across the district the same party stood at 34.3%. In the presidential runoff, 114 of 159 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 68.5%. At the 2017 referendum 78 of 132 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 59.2%.

At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 64 votes, while Çandır as a whole was won by MHP. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 72.4%, 9.1 points below the district average.
