The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 36.4%, while across Çayıralan the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 5.2 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 59.9% here — 8.2 points below the district average. At the 2010 referendum 54.8% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 15.3 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: İYİ Parti took 114 votes to AK Parti's 112 — a margin of just 2 votes. The electorate shrank from 1,030 registered voters in 2011 to 497 in 2023 — a change of about 52 percent. At the 2023 parliamentary election 24 of 337 ballots cast were ruled invalid (7.1%), well above the district average. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 67.8%, 5.5 points below the district average.
