Cokradan is one of the localities of Çayıralan; it had 525 registered voters at the 2018 parliamentary election.

Turnout at the 2014 local election was 57.1%, 12.4 points below the district average. The tightest race came at the 2015 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 161 votes to MHP's 159 — a margin of just 2 votes. At the 2018 parliamentary election 15 of 368 ballots cast were ruled invalid (4.1%), well above the district average. The picture has not changed since 2014: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 4 elections.
