Cukuroren ranks 22nd by electorate among the 33 localities of Çayıralan. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 174 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 130 votes, while across Çayıralan the leading party was AK Parti with 39.9%, leaving İYİ Parti at 31.2%. In the presidential runoff, 130 of 134 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 31.9%. At the 2017 referendum 115 of 122 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 36.0%.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 86 votes, while Çayıralan as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 78.7%, 5.4 points above the district average.
