Curali-Esentepe is one of the localities of Çayıralan; it had 645 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
AK Parti took 45.7% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Çayıralan the same party stood at 55.9%, putting the neighborhood 10.2 points below the district average. At the 2010 referendum 54.2% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 60.5%.
At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 42.9%, while Çayıralan as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2011 parliamentary election was 38.3%, 24.0 points below the district average.
