How Gulderesi votes

Gulderesi ranks 31st by electorate among the 33 localities of Çayıralan. The village has a single ballot box, and 85 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

The village parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 55 votes, while across Çayıralan the leading party was AK Parti with 39.9%, leaving İYİ Parti at 31.2%. In the presidential runoff, 62 of 65 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 31.9%. At the 2017 referendum 36 of 40 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 36.0%.

At the 2024 local election the village went to CHP with 51 votes, while Çayıralan as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 81.2%, 7.9 points above the district average.
