Same place, formerly part of a town. Gulderesı belonged to the town (belde) of Evciler until 2014; when Law 6360 abolished the municipality it became a separate neighborhood. The pre-2014 results on this page belong to that period.

How Gulderesi votes

A single ballot box served Gulderesi at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 85 registered voters; that places it 31st among the 33 localities of Çayıralan.

The village parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 55 votes, while across Çayıralan the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 54.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 62 of 65 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 63.4 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 36 of 40 valid votes were 'no' — 54.0 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2009 local election: CHP took 67 votes to Anavatan's 54 — a margin of just 13 votes. The electorate shrank from 143 registered voters in 2011 to 85 in 2023 — a change of about 41 percent. At the 2024 local election the village went to CHP with 51 votes, while Çayıralan as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 81.2%, 7.9 points above the district average.
