How Cemaloglu votes

A single ballot box served Cemaloglu at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 31 registered voters; that places it 47th among the 49 localities of Çekerek.

36 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 15; İYİ Parti followed with 9. AK Parti's share here is 5.7 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 26 of 32 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 1.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 30 of 31 valid votes were 'yes' — 15.8 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 15 votes to İYİ Parti's 9 — a margin of just 6 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 16 votes, while Çekerek as a whole was won by MHP. The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. The electorate shrank from 83 registered voters in 2011 to 31 in 2023 — a change of about 63 percent.
