With 84 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Doganoglu stands 37th among the 49 localities of Çekerek, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 69 votes, while across Çekerek the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 68.3 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 73 of 78 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 73.1 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 39 of 42 valid votes were 'no' — 73.8 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 65 votes, while Çekerek as a whole was won by MHP. The electorate grew from 52 registered voters in 2011 to 84 in 2023 — a change of about 62 percent. The tightest race came at the 2019 local election: İYİ Parti took 41 votes to CHP's 38 — a margin of just 3 votes. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 95.7%, 8.5 points above the district average.
