How Mehmetli votes

With 60 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Mehmetli stands 41st among the 49 localities of Çekerek, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.

57 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 41; MHP followed with 8. AK Parti's share here is 20.5 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 50 of 55 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 11.4 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 49 of 50 valid votes were 'yes' — 17.0 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: AK Parti took 26 votes to MHP's 19 — a margin of just 7 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 26 votes, while Çekerek as a whole was won by MHP.
