Halikoy-Yukarikiziloz ranks 34th by electorate among the 34 localities of Kadışehri. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 19 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 8 votes, while across Kadışehri the leading party was AK Parti with 47.2%, leaving MHP at 27.5%. In the presidential runoff, 13 of 14 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 86.9%.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 7 votes, while Kadışehri as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 94.7%, 5.6 points above the district average.
