Seyhan ranks 26th by electorate among the 34 localities of Kadışehri. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 128 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 53 votes, while across Kadışehri the leading party was AK Parti, with MHP here running 17.0 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 112 of 119 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 7.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 127 of 143 valid votes were 'yes' — 4.2 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 50 votes, while Kadışehri as a whole was won by AK Parti. The electorate shrank from 181 registered voters in 2011 to 128 in 2023 — a change of about 29 percent. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 97.0%, 9.2 points above the district average. The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: MHP took 53 votes to AK Parti's 40 — a margin of just 13 votes.
