How Emirbey votes

Emirbey ranks 40th by electorate among the 75 localities of Sarıkaya. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 176 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

153 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 65; MHP followed with 57. AK Parti's share here is 1.0 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 142 of 153 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 9.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 148 of 155 valid votes were 'yes' — 14.6 points above the district average.

Turnout at the 2024 local election was 84.8%, 8.2 points above the district average. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to Yeniden Refah with 83 votes, while Sarıkaya as a whole was won by AK Parti. The electorate shrank from 253 registered voters in 2011 to 176 in 2023 — a change of about 30 percent. The tightest race came at the 2018 parliamentary election: MHP took 84 votes to AK Parti's 77 — a margin of just 7 votes.
