With 181 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Hasbek stands 37th among the 75 localities of Sarıkaya, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 72 votes, while across Sarıkaya the leading party was AK Parti, with MHP here running 25.4 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 100 of 136 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 10.1 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 89 of 131 valid votes were 'yes' — 12.9 points below the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 49 votes, while Sarıkaya as a whole was won by AK Parti. At the 2023 parliamentary election 11 of 145 ballots cast were ruled invalid (7.6%), well above the district average. The electorate shrank from 230 registered voters in 2011 to 181 in 2023 — a change of about 21 percent. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: MHP took 49 votes to AK Parti's 44 — a margin of just 5 votes.
