The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 18 votes, while across Sarıkaya the leading party was AK Parti, with MHP here running 5.0 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 42 of 53 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 4.4 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 48 of 54 valid votes were 'yes' — 8.0 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: MHP took 18 votes to AK Parti's 15 — a margin of just 3 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to Yeniden Refah with 17 votes, while Sarıkaya as a whole was won by AK Parti.
