How Asagiemirler votes

With 50 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Asagiemirler stands 110th among the 123 localities of Sorgun, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.

46 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 31; MHP followed with 8. AK Parti's share here is 18.4 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 43 of 46 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 10.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 54 of 54 valid votes were 'yes' — 18.1 points above the district average.

The electorate shrank from 103 registered voters in 2011 to 50 in 2023 — a change of about 51 percent. The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: AK Parti took 19 votes to MHP's 14 — a margin of just 5 votes. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 72.9%, 8.7 points below the district average.
