How Buyukoren votes

Buyukoren ranks 87th by electorate among the 123 localities of Sorgun. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 83 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

81 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 34; İYİ Parti followed with 30. AK Parti's share here is 8.0 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 54 of 78 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 13.7 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 52 of 71 valid votes were 'yes' — 8.7 points below the district average.

Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 97.6%, 9.7 points above the district average. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 19 votes, while Sorgun as a whole was won by MHP. The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: AK Parti took 19 votes to MHP's 17 — a margin of just 2 votes.
