AK Parti took 63.3% in the village at that election. Across Sorgun the same party stood at 50.5%, putting the village 12.8 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 99.2% here and 83.0% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 96.6% of the village voted 'yes'; across the district that was 81.9%.
