How Gokinis votes

A single ballot box served Gokinis at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 62 registered voters; that places it 101st among the 123 localities of Sorgun.

62 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 48; MHP followed with 7. AK Parti's share here is 26.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 60 of 62 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 13.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 53 of 60 valid votes were 'yes' — 6.4 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: AK Parti took 21 votes to Yeniden Refah's 20 — a margin of just 1 vote. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 21 votes, while Sorgun as a whole was won by MHP.
