How Ikikara votes With 69 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Ikikara stands 97th among the 123 localities of Sorgun, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.
66 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 26; MHP followed with 21. AK Parti's share here is 9.9 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 56 of 67 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 0.6 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 74 of 89 valid votes were 'yes' — 1.2 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 24 votes, while Sorgun as a whole was won by MHP. The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2015: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 6 elections. The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: AK Parti took 24 votes to MHP's 21 — a margin of just 3 votes. The electorate shrank from 110 registered voters in 2011 to 69 in 2023 — a change of about 37 percent.
