How Kulhuyuk votes

Kulhuyuk ranks 26th by electorate among the 123 localities of Sorgun; it had 390 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

AK Parti took 51.5% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Sorgun the same party stood at 50.5%, putting the neighborhood 1.0 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 96.7% here and 83.0% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 93.4% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 81.9%.

AK Parti recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 89.3%. AK Parti stood at 80.2% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 51.5% by 2023. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 90.5%, 8.8 points above the district average.
