The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 51 votes, while across Yozgat the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 65.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 58 of 61 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 68.9 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 61 of 62 valid votes were 'no' — 71.3 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2024 local election was 91.3%, 9.0 points above the district average. The tightest race came at the 2014 local election: CHP took 36 votes to MHP's 25 — a margin of just 11 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 28 votes, while Yozgat as a whole was won by AK Parti. The electorate shrank from 83 registered voters in 2011 to 65 in 2023 — a change of about 22 percent.
