How Esenli votes

578 voters were registered in Esenli for the 2023 parliamentary election — 22nd among the 126 localities of Yozgat.

AK Parti took 243 of the 525 valid votes cast in the village at that election (46.3%). That puts the village 6.4 points above the party's district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 88.3% here — 14.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 85.8% of the village voted 'yes' — 12.9 points above the district average.

AK Parti stood at 81.4% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 46.3% by 2023. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 90.1%, 7.8 points above the district average. The village has stayed on the same line since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections.
