AK Parti took 38.4% in the village at that election. Across Yozgat the same party stood at 39.9%, putting the village 1.6 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 75.9% here and 73.8% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 73.4% of the village voted 'yes'; across the district that was 73.0%.
The village has stayed on the same line since 2011: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 8 elections. AK Parti recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 65.7%. AK Parti stood at 60.3% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 38.4% by 2023. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 88.0%, 5.8 points above the district average.
