Baydemirli-Fatihler is one of the localities of Kahramanmaras Merkez; it had 742 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
AK Parti took 462 of the 518 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (89.2%). That puts the neighborhood 8.9 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 94.8% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 5.4 points above the district average.
At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 43.4%, while Kahramanmaras Merkez as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2011 parliamentary election was 70.4%, 20.0 points below the district average.
