Kahramanmaras Merkez: Kahramanmaraş's strongest AK Parti district

In Kahramanmaras Merkez the 2009 local result gave AK Parti 65.1%, 22.7 points above the provincial figure.

AK Parti polled 79.7% in Kahramanmaras Merkez in the general election, 31.9 points above the Kahramanmaraş figure.

In the 2010 constitutional referendum the 'yes' vote in Kahramanmaras Merkez was 88.8% — 14.9 points above the provincial average. This is where the AK Parti vote is highest among Kahramanmaraş's 13 districts.
