AK Parti took 344 of the 354 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (97.2%). That puts the neighborhood 16.9 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 98.6% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 9.2 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2011 parliamentary election was 78.0%, 12.3 points below the district average. The tightest race came at the 2009 local election: MHP took 86 votes to AK Parti's 73 — a margin of just 13 votes.
