Dongele-Durdular is one of the localities of Kahramanmaras Merkez; it had 880 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
AK Parti took 650 of the 794 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (81.9%). That puts the neighborhood 1.6 points above the party's district average. At the 2010 referendum 92.6% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 3.2 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2009 local election was 96.8%, 8.1 points above the district average. At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 75.6%, while Kahramanmaras Merkez as a whole was won by AK Parti.
