Fatmali-Fatih is one of the localities of Kahramanmaras Merkez; it had 868 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.
AK Parti took 90.4% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Kahramanmaras Merkez the same party stood at 80.3%, putting the neighborhood 10.2 points above the district average. At the 2010 referendum 97.6% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 89.4%.
At the 2009 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 57.8%, while Kahramanmaras Merkez as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2009 local election was 97.7%, 8.9 points above the district average.
