The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to İYİ Parti with 59 votes, while across Şefaatli the leading party was AK Parti, with İYİ Parti here running 54.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 66 of 70 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 63.4 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 54 of 60 valid votes were 'no' — 54.3 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 39 votes, while Şefaatli as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 93.2%, 5.6 points above the district average.
