The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 23 votes, while across Şefaatli the leading party was AK Parti, with MHP here running 18.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 41 of 53 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 8.3 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 44 of 59 valid votes were 'yes' — 10.2 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to MHP with 29 votes, while Şefaatli as a whole was won by AK Parti. First place has changed hands 3 times here since 2009.
