The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to MHP with 49 votes, while across Şefaatli the leading party was AK Parti, with MHP here running 13.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 111 of 130 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 16.3 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 118 of 160 valid votes were 'yes' — 9.4 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2015 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 50 votes to MHP's 48 — a margin of just 2 votes. First place has changed hands 4 times here since 2009.
