Konakli is one of the localities of Şefaatli; it had 40 registered voters at the 2018 parliamentary election.

36 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 17; MHP followed with 10. Its share here is close to the district average. In the presidential election, 28 of 36 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 11.0 points above the district average.
